WP2 – Development of Educational Materials in the Field of Cybersecurity and Information Security

Security in the digital environment does not have to be complex or detached. As part of the project outputs, we have prepared a series of short, 60-second videos that explain the most important topics in the field of cyber and information security in an easily understandable way.

Each video is dedicated to one specific concept or threat and explains it clearly, without unnecessary technical jargon, in the time it takes to have a cup of coffee. The aim is to raise awareness and provide practical advice that you can apply immediately at work and in everyday life.

The series gradually covers the following topics: phishing, the basics of information and cyber security, attack vectors, multi-factor authentication, ransomware, safe use of public WiFi, deepfakes, data backup, password managers, and social media security. The videos are suitable for the general public, organisation employees, and students – essentially anyone who wants to navigate the online space more safely.

Within the project, we have prepared a set of educational materials that serve as exercise materials for cyber and information security. The materials are divided into ten thematic units and will gradually guide you from basic concepts to practical principles of safe behaviour in the digital environment.

The individual modules cover an introduction to cybersecurity, passwords and authentication, social engineering, computer network basics, malware and viruses, data backup, firewalls and DoS attacks, mobile device security, cyberbullying and digital footprint, as well as safe behaviour on the internet. The materials are freely available for download and are suitable for teaching, self-study, and practice.
